Students will take pictures and create a poster of as many of the theorems or postulates they've learned for the semester.
Students will see the connection between their immediate environment and the theorems they've learned. They will make a visual connection with their geometric terms, definitions, theorems and postulates.
Digital camera, printer, presentation software or film, glue and poster board.
Lesson Plan Procedure:
Students are to take 10-15 pictures of objects they encounter outside of the school that are talked about during their geometry class.
They will then glue the picture to a poster board and the caption would be the exact theorm or postulate that the pic is related to.
By the end, there would be a visual representation of many of the important geometry concepts.
